UUM Qualitative Research Conference Peer Review Process

To ensure fairness and objectivity in the peer-review process, QRC follows a double-blind review process. The procedures are as follow:

  • Two reviewers will be appointed for each manuscript that will undergo the blind review process.
  • Both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.
  • Authors must ensure their manuscripts do not reveal their identities either directly or indirectly.
  • After completion of reviews, the editors use the reviewers’ feedback to make decision on whether to accept, reject or request revision to the manuscript.
  • Authors are then required to make revision within 2 weeks, and the amended version will be verified by the editors.
  • The final version of the manuscript must follow the QRC camera ready format.
  • Only QUALITATIVE research manuscripts will be accepted for review. Manuscript that does not fall under qualitative research will not be accepted.

Author Guidelines for Double-Blind Compliance:

All manuscript submitted for review must not include

  1. author names and affiliations.
